尊敬的扶轮社领导:

We are writing in response to reports from students who have shared questions 和 concerns regarding club leaders who have signed on behalf of the entire club in solidarity with the Bryn Mawr Student Collective Grievances 和 Action Items document.

Students who have confided in Dean’s Office staff or others expressed feelings including discomfort, 是闻所未闻, 恐吓, 压力, 和欺凌. Some student club members have reported not being consulted at all before leaders have acted on behalf of the club. Other individuals have shared feeling frustrated 和 disappointed that even when votes or conversations have taken place within clubs, not all viewpoints were considered or validated.

We recognize that as leaders it is difficult to balance multiple perspectives within a group. Our goal in bringing these reports to your attention is to raise awareness of how some students feel 和 to help you mitigate any further unintended harm within your clubs.

We will follow up with student organizations to learn more about your process of how you arrived at the decision to make a statement of solidarity.

与此同时, if you have not gone through a clear process of whether to make a statement of solidarity, please follow up with group members to ensure your members were provided an opportunity to vote 和 feel represented in the process.
